Acura ILX Basic Facts

The Acura ILX was unveiled in 2012 at the North American Auto Show and the Chicago Auto Show. Sales in the USA began on May 22, 2012. This car is a compact luxury sedan, costing about $29, 590. In the 2014 model year, Acura added 17 inch wheels, leather interior, heated front seats, and a 3- angle backup camera. All of these upgrades increased the price by $1,000 so the new price was $30, 590. This luxury sedan was the first gasoline- electric hybrid vehicle. The design was based upon the Honda Civic.
